Client reported this as an overdue rental early evening. Vehicle was tracked and when the vehicle went static, an agent was dispatched to collect the keys from the branch in morning and proceed to the last known location. The tracking data still showed the vehicle as static.
On arrival, the vehicle was very obviously static and had been crashed into a building. The agent spoke to the property owners who confirmed that the police had arrested the driver and taken him to hospital (drugs and alcohol were the cause of the crash according to property owner). A specialist recovery team were dispatched to retrieve the vehicle in a way as to prevent any further damage to the property. Vehicle recovered to client approved garage.
